How does Phantom Liberty size compare to Witcher 3 expansions?
The "construction and nature... is different" from Witcher 3. More info will be released on this topic once the ad campaign starts for the expansion.
They went on to say "there will be a lot of new content" in said expansion but offered no other details.
Was the Netflix Edgerunners anime a "game changer" for the game?
They said after the show dropped the game spiked to over one million players per day in total and this was a mixture of the positive reception of the anime as well as the work put in to improve the game by the dev team.
Any more plans for more Cyberpunk anime?
They generally said Edgerunners was "a good implementation of the concept called transmedia". And they are interested in doing more with that idea on all their properties. However gave no specific answer about Cyberpunk proper. However the CDPR Japan community manager did say in a separate interview there was no plans to continue that story but left the door open about other characters, stories.
What is the status of the development of Cyberpunk 2?
"Conceptual work on the Orion project... will start after the release of the expansion" which will be carried out by their new Boston, MA studio with many of the core team from Poland relocating there.
Will you need to increase the size of the development team for current and future projects?
Currently the company is about 1,200 people and they are looking to expand it by 350-500 in the future.
Why open the new studio in Boston, for tax reasons?
They did so because they want to hire "talented and experienced" people from the region.
Any chance for multiplayer in 2077?
No, but it is being "...planned for most of our next games."
