This week we talk to Dinoboy5551. He caught my attention with his amazing NSFW 2077 themed art. A very talented virtual photo artist. He is one of only a few I have seen that writes little stories about the characters via dialog in the series of images. Very creative. Take a read and let us know what you think in the comments below. WARNING: Most of the images in the gallery at the bottom are NSFW.

First can you tell us a little about yourself, where you grew up and what attracted or inspired you to get into this art form?
I grew up in the Mojave desert in California. Middle of nowhere type place since that is where my mom lived. Didn’t really have much in the way of computers or even video games growing up, besides the occasional times I visited my dad. Moved in with my dad full time at the beginning of high school, which is when I really got into computers and games. As for what got me into this art form? I have always enjoyed making stuff in games like Gmod and forge in Halo. Started messing around in SFM which is what got me to try and make actual artwork.

How did you learn this form of digital art?
Just from messing around in games and SFM. I have recently started going to college for 3D animation. Which has helped improve my artwork quite a bit. It is also why I moved to Blender.

What drew you to Cyberpunk 2077 or/and the cyberpunk genre as a whole?
Originally I got drawn into the cyberpunk genre by the Ghost in the Shell manga and the Stand Alone Complex anime series based on it. The actual game itself drew me in near release when I watched the cinematic trailers. Didn’t keep up with it much until launch.

Do you have a favorite cyberpunk setting aside from 2077? If so why do you like it so much?
Ghost in the Shell; Stand Alone Complex. Enjoy the setting and world building done in that series. Yet it isn’t massively cyberpunk like the game.

What message, to you, does the cyberpunk genre imply or relay as a viewer, fan of that aesthetic?
The genre itself has always had a message of the every man versus the world around them. From the mega corporations taking over everything, to the corruption in any form of government.

What photo/GFX tools that are not in 2077 would you like to see in the sequel Project Orion?
Actual posing of other characters from the game. Not just V. They did this somewhat by adding Nibbles. Would like to see way more characters added to the list once their story is complete.

What keeps driving you to keep making 2077 content?
The world itself is what keeps me around. It is quite open, so making actual stories within it is easier than most other series. The characters are also very enjoyable to make content with.

What about the 2077 characters specifically got your interest? All time favorite NPC in 2077 and why?
I enjoy how realistic they are portrayed with how the world is set up. No one feels out of place or acts like a fish out of water. Not even V. As for my favorite? Design wise Rita Wheeler. Story wise, Kerry.

What tools do you use to make your art? How long does it take to go from ideas to posting a pic?
I use Blender and Photoshop to create and edit my artwork. Usually around 2 days from idea to post. Sometimes longer if it's a larger set of images or requires more story elements to be made.

How long have you been doing this art form?
A few years. Haven't kept track.

What attracted you to doing the spicy side of digital art?
Wanting to see certain characters I was into in ways that weren't really common. Started with wanting to see Elizabeth from Bioshock pregnant.

I've seen a lot of memes from artists that imply if you do vanilla art you will hardly get any notice, but if you do spicy art you'll get tons of attention. Do you feel those memes are accurate for better or worse? What are your thoughts on that?
Depends on your quality and style of art. Spicy content will definitely drive more followers quicker, but in the long term a really good non-spicy animator can get a lot more attention, and in the long term get a more viable job in the industry.

Fav couple (not necessarily official couple) you have done spicy art for and why?
V and Judy are probably my favorite to make stuff with. Yet if I had a model of Rita. Her and Judy would make a fun couple.

I have noticed on the Twitter and art sites a large amount of "futa" (female characters given male sex organs) or artists who do 'standard' versions and 'futa' versions of their female characters. I really didn't realize that was a thing, or how big it was until I dug into it. What's your thoughts on that whole subject matter and why do you think it has the following it does?
I do futa content myself for a few reasons that are similar as to why I think Futa has really taken off. Firstly, a lot of artists prefer seeing women get with one another but still want that a cock being used. Naturally it meant giving one (or both) a cock. Cyberpunk 2077 also really goes good with it due to Judy being a lesbian and the setting allowing this without question. As for the second reason, I think it comes down to the lack of actual male character models. We don’t have much besides generic male models. Which don’t work well for story content.

Do you think these are skills you'd like to make a career of on some level or you prefer it as a hobby?
I am hoping to get into the industry in some way. I am going to school for it.

For those artists that don't want to get on the spicy side of things what advice do you have?
If they don’t want to, they don’t have to. Do whatever you enjoy and feels right to you. I am open to the spicy side of content because I enjoy making it. Yet won’t push anyone to do it if they don’t want to or feel uncomfortable doing it.

And my most controversial question... Which of the following labels would you assign to whom (one each)? ;)
Marry, BFF, FWB(friend with benefits), Casual Friend, Indifferent, Hate, Kill

Evelyn: FWB

Goro: Indifferent

Johnny: FWB

Judy: BFF

Kerry: Casual Friend

Panam: Marry

River: Casual Friend

And finally what are the socials people can find you, and do you do commissions? Any final words to the readers? Thank you for your time!
You can find me on my twitter @Dinoboy5551 or on my patreon patreon.com/dinoboy555. I do take image commissions. $50 per image.

For final words? I am glad to have gotten so far within this world. I am glad that my artwork is noticeable and hopefully recognizable among the sea of so much good content. Thank you for taking the time to reach out to me!
