Gamespot: I Spent $300 On A Cyberpunk 2077 Johnny Silverhand Toy And I Regret Nothing

Gamespot: I Spent $300 On A Cyberpunk 2077 Johnny Silverhand Toy And I Regret Nothing
Gamespot writer Darryn Bonthuys drops an article about how he picked up a deluxe Johnny Silverhand figure for $300 and he apparently felt it was worth every penny. Gives a long, deep review of this Cyberpunk 2077 figure and details all the accessories. Here is a snip below;

First announced all the way back in December 2020, Hot Toys has finally released the figure of the Night City icon, who is portrayed by Keanu Reeves in the game. A renegade with a microchip on his shoulder, Silverhand stands at around 12 inches tall, has plenty of articulation, and comes with several accessories.

Basically, if you ever wanted to own an older version of Ted "Theodore" Logan who happens to be grumpier, more lethal, and regularly cracks out much better hit singles, this could be the perfect figure for you. Provided that you have $285--plus shipping--to spend on this collectible, that is. Is this an eye-watering sum for a highly detailed toy? Absolutely.

Do I regret that I have to consume the cardboard that this figure arrived in because I deemed it to be more important than eating proper food for the next month? Not a chance.

Reechi: Cyberpunk 2077 Became My New Obsession
Reechi posted a review of Cyberpunk 2077 of how it went from a game he played on launch and was too distracted by the bugs to continue, to a game 2 years later that he can't stop playing. It is not all roses and rainbows however, he does give some fair critiques of areas that are lacking and aspects missing that he wishes to see in Project Orion. Take a watch of this very well narrated video and let us know in the comments if you agree or not;

Entertainment Focus: Re-Review of Cyberpunk 2077

Entertainment Focus: Re-Review of Cyberpunk 2077
Website Entertainment Focus just posted a 2 year post launch re-review of CP 2077. While they cover all the typical ground you'd expect they sum up the review with the following which is fair and pragmatic. I do take issue with their 'you need a strong rig to play on ultra' comment. I got a 3070 and 7 5800X and play on ultra (no ray tracing however) just fine with smooth gameplay at FPS ~70. I don't consider my box to be a monster. None the less, here is their ending summary let us know what you think below;

So, there’s still bugs, it is an open world game at the end of the day, but a far more stable one. The fixing of bugs has revealed that there are some shortcuts the have taken, that weren’t down to bugs alone. It’s a strange one because as immersive as the game can be, it can also be so dull it drags you out of the experience. In all honestly, a linear approach, or even making it a PS5/Xbox Series/PC only release may have sorted these issues but hey, this is the hand we’re dealt. A captivating story and solid gameplay makes up for its shortcomings. The main question – is now the time to return to Night City? Providing you’re not on PS4 or Xbox One, then yes. Cyberpunk 2077 deserves your support now more than ever.
