As we already reported on a few days back, GameRant
posted a article about how pre-production work on Project Orion (Cyberpunk 2) won't start until next year. Which fit into what Paweł Sasko said in
our previous reporting. That he would not move to Boston until Phantom Liberty ships which we know is next year, probably Q1 is the current guess by the community. Thus if he as the lead in the Boston studio isn't moving until then, no real working on CP2 is going to get done logically speaking. So nothing that we already didn't know but nice confirmation none the less, here is a ship;
Piotr Nielubowicz, the CFO at CD Projekt Red, said during a recent financial call that the company is looking to speed up the development of Project Orion after the release of Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty. To add more clarity, the CEO Adam Kiciński stated that they have not yet begun pre-production of Project Orion and that it's slated to enter the research phase in 2023. Adam also mentioned that the research will be undertaken by a limited team in order to allow other members to join The Witcher 4 project.
