ust wanted to update, clarify our previous post about the Cyberpunk GTA online clone in development we posted called "CyberPunk Refuge Zone"

In hindsight we should have been a bit more clear since everything is in German and took us a little bit to wade thought it all ourselves and wasn't as cut and dry as we were lead to believe.

The channel hosting the video is NOT the developers channel. That is a German Cyberpunk news site like this one here. They simply posted it in support of the project. For obvious reasons trying to track down the developer is a challenge. This German channel did not from what we could tell link back to the source. I am guessing they state all that info in the video verbally but since I don't understand German... you see the problem.

But the most important part is their licensing claims. While they don't out right claim such according to my translator they imply they have the rights to the Cyberpunk property.  However to be clear which the original post may not have been, folks from CDPR or associated with them in the past have said they have an exclusive license. So if this German developer is skirting the law and not being upfront, honest or something behind the scenes happened time will tell. As clearly if they are breaking copyright it's only a matter of time before CRPR or the owner of the property R. Talsorian Games comes knocking and shuts them down.
